Action Candidates' Forum

The Frederick County Environmental Action Candidates' Forum was a
student-led event funded by Youth Service America and Civil Society
Institute to educate citizens on environmental issues in Frederick County and the viewpoints of candidates for the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC). The forum covered the topics of growth, waste,
global warming, natural resources and green design. The presentation, included below, on the environmental issues facing Frederick County was part of the program.

The powerpoint* was prepared and presented by members of Walkersville High
School's environmental club and National Honor Society members.
