Two Alliance partners are offering annual native plant sales at the end of April.  You won’t want to miss them!

The Audubon Society of Central Maryland specializes in native plants, both herbaceous and “woodies”.  Members who staff the sale know which plants are favored by birds and butterflies. They invite you to come to their Audrey Carroll Sanctuary property near Linganore High School to see the variety of plants at their 11th Annual Native Plant Sale on Saturday, April 25th!  The sale runs from 9:00 AM until 2 PM, rain or shine.  Arrive early for best selection!

Frederick County Master Gardeners offer their annual plant sale in Frederick on this popular spring date as well. Their sale is set up on the lawn in front of the Cooperative Extension office at 330 Montevue Lane from 8 am until Noon.  Many Frederick County Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions.  Choose from a variety of flowers, herbs, vegetables, and native plants and shrubs as well as meet a number of your gardening neighbors.  Call 301.600.1596 for additional information or go to their website.
