Join members of the Carroll County Forestry Board for the Alien Nightmares: Invasive Plant Workshop on Saturday, January 16! Learn about the ecological effects of non-native plants on a global and local basis and how to develop a plan to control invasive plants on your property. This workshop will assist landowners in identifying and controlling the most troublesome non-native invasive plants in our area (including some commonly used landscape plants), and in determining which non-invasive and native plants can be used as alternatives.
When: Saturday, January 16, 2009
9AM to 2:30 PM- Registration begins at 8:30AM
