Potomac Conservancy Fall 2008 Internship Position
Land Conservation- Restoration
The Potomac Conservancy has an exciting internship available for the fall of 2008. Our internships offer real world experience in the field of environmental restoration and conservation outreach in a non-profit agency setting.
The internship will focus mainly on helping to conduct outreach to landowners in Frederick County Maryland on a wide range of water quality topics. Additionally the internship will focus on project management and project maintenance. Interns are expected to come to the Potomac Conservancy headquarters office in Silver Spring only once or twice a week, and periodically conduct work in Frederick, Maryland.
This internship is a great opportunity to learn about a wide variety of conservation projects including stormwater management and riparian restoration, and to meet regional leaders in the natural resources and conservation fields.
The internship is open to all College Students and High School Seniors with an interest in Conservation or Natural Resources Management.
