Trees have shaped our history, art, and literature throughout time. In learning about the art and history of trees, we also will learn about the science in this hands-on field class that meets at various locations throughout Frederick County. We'll learn the natural history of the trees, folklore, economics, and other tidbits as we explore their habitats. Course is taught by environmental educator and certified arborist, Jenny Willoughby. THIS IS A FIELD CLASS. COME PREPARED TO HIKE. WEAR STURDY BOOTS AND BRING WATER/SNACKS. EASY TO MODERATE HIKING LEVEL.
