-Hilari Varnadore
Executive Officer, Community Commons

Community Commons supports a Conservation Network Program which hosts a monthly brown bag lunch series (3rd Friday of the month at 12 noon to 1:00 pm) for organizational and agency representatives and interested citizens to exchange information, ideas and informal dialogue on local conservation and environmental matters.

Each month, the group selects a topic for discussion; their November topic was “Compiling an Eco-friendly Holiday Gift Giving Guide.” We hope you enjoy their ideas. Community Commons and the Monocacy & Catoctin Watershed Alliance do not endorse or sponsor any of the products or organizations listed below. These ideas were contributed by a diverse group of individuals active in Frederick County natural resource conservation.
