Frederick County’s Watershed Management Section has conducted habitat assessments to collect information on amphibians, birds, and vegetation at a number of wetland sites in the Bennett Creek watershed over the past four years (http://www.watershed-alliance.com/mcwa_study37.html).  The project is funded through a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) passed through the Maryland Department of Environment (MDE).
