Time to remove those refrigerators, shoes, shopping carts, and anything else you can think of, from our Potomac River Watershed. On Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 9am until 12 noon the Alice Ferguson Foundation and thousands of volunteers will be out, rain or shine, removing tons of trash from the lands and waterways around our region.
This year is the 22nd Anniversary of the Potomac River Watershed Cleanup and there’s no better time to get involved in some good clean fun! Over the past 20 years we have removed more than 3 million pounds of trash and we’re still going strong. We hope you and your family can join the Alice Ferguson Foundation in giving back to our precious Potomac River Watershed. Visit www.PotomacCleanup.org or call 202-518-7415 for more information!
