Volunteers Needed for Stream Clean-ups!

April 14, 11am-2pm: Catoctin Creek Nature Center and Park stream cleanup
Where: 2929 Sumantown Rd., Middletown, MD 21769

Catoctin Creek Nature Center will be participating in the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Project Clean Stream Event on Saturday April 14th. This is part of a project that includes hundreds of other sites and over 5,000 volunteers in the Chesapeake Bay area.

Volunteers are needed to help collect debris collected in and around the banks of Catoctin Creek. Children under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please be cautious of sharp objects and other possibly harmful items.

What to Bring: protective gloves, old clothes, water bottle & snack, hand sanitizer
